The charming country cottages of La Maison de St George are situated in a terracotta roofed hamlet surrounded by countryside filled with undulating vineyards, fields of sunflowers, corn and poppies. Nearby, you can enjoy picturesque views, marvel over the Romanesque architecture, relax alongside the canals of Green Venice and be inspired by the great expanse of sky. In fact, the variety of colour and light of Poitou-Charentes will incite your creativity.

We can arrange anything from a half day private session to a full week’s course working either in small groups or individually – your creative holiday will be tailor-made for you!

Painting Tutor - Glen Owen, BA
After gaining a B.A. in graphic design at St Martin’s School of Art in London, Glen Owen worked for some years as an art teacher in London. During this period she made and exhibited works in embroidery and collage, which were sold in both Britain and the USA. She has carried our public art commissions, including two large wall hangings for schools in Banbury and Bicester. Glen is proud to have also exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Whilst living in west Wales, she began to concentrate on watercolours, many of which have been sold in Britain and France where she now resides.

• Materials are not included, but can be purchased locally.
• Complementary refreshments will be provided mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
• Lunch not included, however, picnic hamper is available for a small charge from La Maison.
• Fold up chairs can be hired free of charge from La Maison.
• Maximum of 6 people on any course.
