Golf du Cognac (approx 40 minutes drive)
Situated on the banks of the Charente River on the route between Cognac
and Jarnac at La Maurie, the course is in the heart of Cognac Country.
A superb par 72 18-hole course and a second course for practice bordering
the river, where everything is designed for comfort, hospitality
and for the great love of golf! The Cognac Golf Course offers you
superb undulating fairways, dotted with water hazards; 6,142 metres
for men; 5, 266 metres for women. While beginners will enjoy themselves,
holes 12, 15 and 17, are particularly challenging and will delight
the more experienced player. The Club House provides the perfect
atmosphere to spend time with friends and relax.. perhaps with a
Cognac!

Golf du Château des Forges, St Maixent l’École (40-
50 minutes drive)
Located at Les Forges, within a calm and peaceful setting, the course
extends within 110 hectares of parkland. It is gently undulating with
lakes, streams and woodlands and is a suitable challenge to all levels
of golfer. This par 72, 6,500 metre course is unique as it provides
27 holes over 3 separate 9 hole courses. Golfers can select any two
of the three courses for their chosen 18 holes. In the attractive and
welcoming club house, situated in the heart of the estate, can be found
the reception, manned by bilingual staff, a pro-shop and restaurant
serving gastronomic fayre with panoramic views overlooking the course.
The club also boasts a heated swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness
centre, children’s nursery and cycle hire – perfect for

Golf de Saintes Louis Rouyer Guillet (approx 40 minutes
drive)
In an exceptional setting, this Golf Course offers two greens within
the heart of a 40 hectare park and is only 5 minutes from the centre
of the Roman City of Saintes. Suitable for beginners and the more experienced
golfer, this par 68, 18 hole, 4,790 metre course is undulating and
wooded with a number of water hazards and magnificent views over the
city. A terrace, with a vista across the course, and conservatory style
clubhouse is the perfect place to relax, enjoy a delicious meal and
cool drink at the end of a game.

Golf Club de Niort (approx 50 minutes drive)
A relatively flat course with very challenging bunkers and fairways
makes for a very technical game! Located just outside Niort with
views of the city panorama, this club provides a par 71, 18 hole
course, 5,865 metres in length and suitable for all. The club-house
with bar, restaurant and brasserie, is open to everyone – so
why not meet up after your game for a meal and glass of Bordeaux
