Once the village dance hall, and more recently an artist's studio, now tastefully converted with many unique features including original pieces of sculpture.


Ground floor:

Kitchen/bistro eating area - the entrance opens into a charming,
well-equipped kitchen with exposed walls and beams and area for eating.
Dining room/lounge - a large 30' room with formal dining area, large sofa, TV for DVD/video playback only, hi-fi and a wood burning stove for cosy winter evenings. Private access through wrought iron gates onto the lane. Shower room with hand basin, toilet, heated towel rail and hairdryer. An ornate wrought iron staircase leads up to the mezzanine level:

 

 

Romantic south facing, sunny double bedroom with original beams and pretty views over the rooftops and across the village.


Outside:

  • Open air dining is provided in Lavender Cottage’s delightful covered terrace.

Heating:

  • In addition to the log burner, electric convector heaters provide heating in the cooler months.
