in the heart of Poitou-Charentes. If you dream of a little time to relax

However, there is plenty
to discover from beautiful countryside and seascapes to the rich history
and architecture of the Saintonge region, and from the world famous
Cognacs and vineyard trails to superb golf courses, breathtaking cycling
routes and peaceful painting days by the river! In fact there is something
for everyone! We can even assist you in finding your dream home in France
as we have local contacts and plenty of experience!
The country cottages have been lovingly and
stylishly restored to a very high standard and retain many original
features. Their charm is enhanced further by the use of sumptuous fabrics
and calming colour schemes. Three holiday cottages of character are
available, providing a choice of three, two or one bedroom accommodation.
All the cottages are set within the enchanting and tranquil gardens
of La Maison, with garden furniture and sun loungers. All boast a modern
kitchen, fully equipped with washing machine, electric oven, gas hob,
microwave, toaster, ironing board and iron.
Each bedroom has its own Teddy Bear or cuddly toy so no need to bring
your own! Rental also includes: all bedding, towels and tea towels,
heating and electricity. Cot, high chair, baby bath and z-bed available
on request in advance. La Maison also provides BBQ facilities, free
hire of over 300 films in the DVD/video library, CD collection, paperback
books, board and garden games!
The Romanesque town of Aulnay-de-Saintonge
is only 5 minutes drive away, with all amenities including a market,
bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, cafés, banks
and seasonal open-air swimming pool.
